Do you want to be featured on this blog?
Please email a brief explanation, contact information, and website if you have one about your project, business, or personal story to email@example.com. Whatever it is you're doing - please define it within the context of empowerment, positivity, and passion. If you've got a red shoes correlation to boot, that's awesome! (Although not required.)
After reviewing your submission in terms of empowerment, positivity, and passion (and all three should be present), I will respond in one of the following ways: Email to let you know that I'd like to hear more about your work, email to let you know that you're in the queue and I'd like to hear more about your work, or email to politely decline hearing any more about your work.
Please no spam or email forwards. And on that note, I want to put a shout out to Snopes, an awesome website that helps debunk those infamous and mythical forwards about Chinese girls getting their arms chewed off by tigers and requesting a generous deposit to the Ukranian bank listed below. (I made that example up, but you know what I mean. I hope.)
I'm also putting the kabosh on any inspirational email forwards. Not because they aren't meaningful, but, because while lovely and inspirational, they are somewhat generic. I want to hear your story!
As the author and sole gal responsible for this blog, I reserve the right to accept or decline your request to be featured. No hard feelings, that's just how it goes sometimes.
Finally, the Red Shoes Writing blog is not intended to be a battlefield for political, theological, environmental, economical, mechanical, athletic-al, - or any other kind of word ending in -al - views and debates. I'm sure there are many other blogs and websites out there for such things and you probably already know where they are.
However, this is a website about respecting people, integrity, social justice, and overall encouragement for making a positive contribution to the world.
I look forward to hearing from you!
